Opal's personnel are experienced in implementing a wide range of small to multimillion dollar environmental remedies. These remedies have included landfill capping, ground water interception, soil stabilization, structural demolition, soil vapor extraction systems and water treatment facilities.
Our experience includes mitigating low level radiological contamination associated with tailings and Naturally Occurring Radiological Materials (NORM). Completed closures have been performed under the regulatory framework of CERCLA, RCRA and VCUP programs.
